Tucson Nihongo Café is designed for adults to develop their speaking ability and have fun speaking in Japanese with others who share a love for Japanese culture and language. We partner with volunteers in Anjyo City, Aichi, Japan. The online group meets twice a month, and you can also sign up for 1 on 1 sessions on demand.

In addition to online groups, we are reopening in-person sessions on Saturdays. $7.5~ per 2 hour session.

Focusing on reading and writing in Japanese. Lectures will be in English and taught by an instructor who is fluent in Japanese ( JLPT N1 level or Native speaker). Please see the class information for the Japanese Division on the enrollment and About pages.

Recommended to an individual who is studying Kanji. Lots of schools and companies in Japan take this exam into account during the admission and application process. Or simply try out your Kanji knowledge!
