About

Our Mission:

We are dedicated to developing,,,

global-minded, compassionate, collaborative students inspired to learn, take risks, and lead change in the world.

We also aim to develop effective communicators who are progressive thinkers and attentive listeners who offer ideas openly using their language abilities.

We create opportunities for the Tucson community to experience, appreciate, and learn about Japanese culture and language. Beyond traditional art, music, and food, there are modern subjects that can be explored in culture such as manga.

The Tucson Japanese Language School LLC was founded in August 2015. We give children the opportunity to experience Japanese language, as well as Japanese culture as a way to as extending their language ability. Our highly qualified and experienced language teachers offer high quality Japanese language lessons to every child.

K-12 Division is designed for children who have Japanese background to maintain and expand their Japanese language skills in a school environment close to that of schools in their home country of Japan in standards. We understand that the level of Japanese spoken in the family varies by household.  Therefore, our classes are divided according to language skills and not by age. As a result, we have a range of ages in each class.  In each classroom, there is an instructor, along with several assistants and volunteers, to make sure that each student gets individualized attention and instruction in the classroom.

Starting in August 2018, we open Japanese Division which is designed for students who are new to the Japanese language or don’t have a Japanese background. The instructions may be delivered in English as needed so students can grasp the tasks assigned.
